The Opportunity

IQ Foundry is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Interactive Designer in our Madison, WI office. Imagination is encouraged, and there will be plenty of opportunity to push your design skills to the limits working with a large variety of clients and projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of design industry experience with a focus on Interactive design.

You'll need to be a creative thinker, detail-oriented, confident, and able to express ideas and concepts to other team members in an articulate, well thought-out manner.

Most importantly we want you to be passionate about design, interactive, and creating a final product that you can be proud of.

Essential Functions:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and developing design concepts on projects and leading them through completion with our development team. We are looking for people with outstanding creative design skills and the experience to excel with any design challenge.

• Conceptualize, develop and maintain compelling online experiences which are fun, attractive and functiona
• Develop the overall look and feel for campaigns that is consistent with established brand guidelines and styles
• Keep abreast of best practices online & offline and maintain knowledge of current interactive trends
• Work closely with our Interactive Director to provide top-quality interactive and graphic solutions
• Have an undeniable passion for interactive

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of web design and buildout experience
• 1-3 years of significant hands-on experience with HTML/CSS and Flash
• Bright, enthusiastic, and hard working
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple assignments while meeting strict deadlines
• Desire to work in a constantly evolving team environment
• Excellent typographical and design skills
• Strong ability to generate, conceptualize and execute design ideas
• Solid understanding of development
• Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications and other industry tools
• Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS and Standards Based site buildout

Preferred Skills

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, or Multimedia Design
• Understanding of motion design
